In the Bible it says:

“….God has grown the Tree of Life in the Middle of the Garden and the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.”
Then God gave man the command: “From every tree of this garden you can eat, but from the tree of knowledge of good and evil you cannot eat, for as soon as you eat from it, you will surely die.”
From the text of the Bible you can see, therefore, that : (a) In the middle of the garden the Tree of Life grew. It is not known where the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil grew. So Adam and Eve didn’t know it with all the clarity. This is THE FIRST ERROR.

When the snake asked Eve if God forbade eating from all trees, Eve answered this:
“We can eat fruit from garden trees; Only about the fruit of the tree that grows in the middle of the garden, God said, You must not eat or touch it, so that you may not be dead.” Here comes the second error, because Eve says that they are not allowed to eat from the TREE, which is in the middle of the garden.
The snake answered Eve like this:
“And the snake said to the woman, “Surely you will not die. But God knows that as soon as you eat from it, your eyes will open and you will be like God who knows good and evil.” The snake thus speaks a sentence, the first part of which refers to the tree of life and the second part to the tree of knowledge of good and evil. So here comes the THIRD ERROR.
After these THREE MISTAKES, Eve breaks the fruit from the tree (which?) and also gives Adam to eat.
