A customer and a loved one once told me, “You’re not serious enough.” I felt really most devastated. Man is not entirely responsible for his stupidity. But for lack of seriousness yes. In my profession, that’s the worst thing that can be about a lawyer. I took it to heart. For a small excuse, I will say only so much that:
(A) I have come to live in the Land on the Vistula River, where almost no one lifts a slice of bread from the earth, kissing it by respecting the gifts of Heaven. I still do, although sometimes I don’t want to anymore;
(B) in the country where the valgus roundabout in the collapsed town is called Ronda im. J. P. II (instead of: a roundabout from a hole in the chef’s sock from J.P. II);
(C) in a country where a lot of Respectable and Serious People live on ul. Reksia Pieska or ul. Bolka and Lolka;
(D) in the country where Rondo in the capital was named after The President of France Rondo De Gaulle and a palm tree was placed there at 52 degrees north latitude near the freezing Baltic Sea;
(E) in a country where the streets rarely bear the names of saints, it is quite a retreat than it is in London, but they bear the names of all the bloody battles, groupings and uprisings, but not the names of the thousands of soldiers killed in these battles and uprisings, apart from E. Plater and R. Traugutt and a few others. Some
