The State

Among the legal theories, one of the most interesting is THE STATE THEORY, which tries to explain WHY and HOW STATES WERE CREATED. A lot of interesting information on this subject is included in the book “History of political order” – F. Fukuyama. In college, we learned that the first countries were created in the Middle East only after agriculture appeared. According to THEORY, the creation of a state organization was naturally the next step needed to improve the organization of agriculture.

When the state was created, the next natural step was the need to create an organized religion to control people, THE THEORY SAID. The discovery was not so given to the PREHISTORIC RELIGIOUS SHRINE in Göbekli Tepe (present-day Turkey) caused a great deal of attention to this theory, because this shrine was built in the PERIOD BEFORE the first states were established in the Old East. The reverse hypothesis (THEORY) that religion influenced (caused) the emergence of states is therefore now legitimate, and not vice versa (I give as “National Geographic”).

This reverse hypothesis is consistent with the ANTHROPOLOGICAL THEORY which Mr Eliade included in the book “Sacrum and Profane”. You’d like to be in college again.
